SIMS .neteRegistration

Electronic Registration assists schools in the recording and monitoring of statutory session attendance and punctuality.

Registers can be marked on classroom computers/laptops; teachers have access to student/pupil information directly from their registers.

If a student/pupil arrives late for a session, teachers can optionally record how many minutes late they are can record a comment if required, this helps the management of lateness at both an individual level and school level.
Staff can access previous session marks, this can be particularly useful if a student/pupil is not present today they can check to see if the student was present yesterday/last week. (i.e. they are ill or on holiday)

Staff have the ability to cover registration for another member of staff.

Electronic registration helps to reduce unauthorized absences – making first day contact easy, it releases extra time to teaching and administration staff, it gives up to the minute accurate information for reporting purposes, no need to collect registers and process OMR sheets.
